Raised by E.M. Research station. A cross between Worcester Pearmain and Starkspur Golden Delicious. Trees are extremely precocious and very compact. Blossom is frost resistant. Fruit yield is twice that of Cox's Orange Pippin. The fruit colour is bright scarlet over 75% of the fruit. Will keep in store until December. Flavour is good.
