2. COE’S GOLDEN DROP. Described by many as the Cox of plums. An oval, straw yellow fruit, with reddish brown spots. Absolutely superb flavour – extremely juicy, apricot flavour. Makes a spreading tree. Likes plenty of nitrogen. Denniston’s is an ideal pollinator. Parents: Greengage x possibly White Magnum Bonum. Partially self-fertile.
