Another useful fruit to follow normal soft fruit. Ready from late July into late August. Dark red to almost purplish. Very juicy, slightly acid and distinct taste. Tolerates dry conditions. Cropping prolific and strength of plant is very vigorous. Reputed to be a cross of Loganberry, Blackberry and Raspberry, but it’s not. It’s a line bred cross back to Youngberry and Loganberry.
