Deacon's Nursery: Fruit Trees & Bushes
This is the brighter coloured sport of Gala, discovered in Holland and named by McKenzie following a visit by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who was impressed by the quality and appearance of the fruit. Similar in taste to the original, but is a more attractive variety. Sold in supermarkets.
