Deacon's Nursery: Fruit Trees & Bushes
Discovered in 1629. This is most likely the original variety, which now bears the name of Isaac Newton Tree, as in every other respect it is the same. It is worthy of note, having preceded the Isaac Newton Tree, which was not recorded until 1665. Please see details of Isaac Newton Tree below.
