(CANADIAN CODLING). Raised in 1911 by R. Wellington in Geneva, Nysaes, from a cross of Montgomery and White Transparent. Cooks to a white froth. Sweet and juicy. Larger and firmer and not bruising like Transparent. Is now the earliest cooker available – start picking in July. Well worth a try.
