Deacon's Nursery: Fruit Trees & Bushes
Quite early: late August/September. Blossom is fairly frost resistant, pendulous habit. Flushed almost completely bright scarlet. Small and round with slight sub-acid flavour. Moderately vigorous. Parentage: Laxton's Early Crimson x Laxton's Epicure. Raised in J.I.Inst. in 1948. Does well up north. Similar flowers to Laxton's Epicure (a parent)
