An attractive late cooker, ripening November/December and will keep until April if carefully stored. It is of quite acceptable dessert quality too. Large round fruit – pale yellow with deep red flush and broken stripes. Resistant to scab. Self-fertile. A Peasgood’s Nonsuch cross. Origin: Essex, 1888.
