Deacon's Nursery: Fruit Trees & Bushes
A Russet introduced by W. Brownlees in 1846. Fruit is completely covered in russeting. Medium to large apple with sub-acid flavour. Tree of compact to upright growth. Pick mid-October – keeps until April in store and gains an admirable taste. Self-fertile.
